106 primary sources, 101 bibliography entries
The evidentiary base of the record: courts, UN bodies, human rights organisations, peer-reviewed research, open datasets, declassified archives and the Israeli press. Sources are grouped by the weight they carry, not by convenience. Every claim in the report is anchored to a source of one of these classes.
What the record rests on
Findings by courts and mandated inquiries sit at the top of this hierarchy; field documentation and the Israeli press sit alongside them because admissions against interest carry their own weight.

How this dashboard was built
No gaps
build.py parses report-final.md into structured JSON, emitting every
heading, paragraph, list item and table. verify.py then reconciles every non-blank line of the source
against the output; it currently reports zero missing fragments. The Evidence section renders that JSON in full,
so what you read there is the report itself, not a summary of it.
Time-series data
fetch_timeseries.py downloads the
Tech For Palestine daily datasets
(1,070 daily records, October 2023 – September 2026) and aggregates them to monthly series.
Their cumulative totals corroborate the figures cited independently in the report:
73,670 killed
as of 2026-09-10.
Corroboration
Every statistic must appear in at least two independent sources before it enters the record. Where sources disagree, the more recent and better-documented figure is used and the disagreement is stated. Where a figure is an estimate rather than a count — as with the mortality studies — it is labelled as one.
